He was lost and alone. Then he found her.
And the future seemed more fragile than ever.

As a child, Landon Lucas Maxfield believed his life was perfect and looked forward to a future filled with promise — until tragedy tore his family apart and made him doubt everything he ever believed.

All he wanted was to leave the past behind. When he met Jacqueline Wallace, his desire to be everything she needed came so easy…

As easy as it could be for a man who learned that the soul is breakable and that everything you hoped for could be ripped away in a heartbeat.

Breakable is NOT a sequel. It is a novel of Easy from Lucas's POV with stories of his past.

Easy was my most favorite New Adult novel. But after I’ve read Breakable, I’m not so sure anymore. Easy was sweet, hot and gripping. Breakable was heart wrenching, hotter and sexier.

It wasn't a story of love at first sight. And thank God for that. It wasn’t the story of a new student in school and falling in love with the popular kid. It was a story of two people who made each other a better person, a girl and a boy who gradually fell in love with each other.

I loved Lucas’s admiration for Jackie even if she doesn’t even know he existed. I can’t believe I’m saying this but thank God he’s sort of obsessed with Jacqueline. His detailed observation with her makes every girl swoon. To have a boy’s complete attention like she’s the only girl in the planet is the devotion every girl wants – needs. I didn’t like the Landon sexual adventures though; it kind of hurts me as a loyal shipper of Lucqueline, Jacqus or something. LOL. It doesn't hurt that Lucas is so talented. His high grades means he wants something out of life. And while the artistic side of him, gives his character more depth.

Seeing the reason behind all the piercings and tattoos really helped me connect with the character of Lucas and reading about his side of the story made me acknowledge why he did what he did.

I love that the story tackles about rape culture that is hugely present in the society. It expresses that no matter what a girl wears, when she says no, it’s still the rapists fault. Not one girl asks to be raped. Not one girl deserves to be blamed why they got raped.

So for readers, who deeply enjoyed Easy, delve into Breakable and understand Lucas’s character more. You will have a glimpse of his past and how intense his feelings are for Jacqueline.

Reading in Lucas’s POV made the whole story hotter and sexier. He made Jacqueline’s perspective in Easy look like child’s play. You will gobble up Breakable like a dessert!
